THE ECD EXPERIENCE-WHAT THE EVENT MEAN TO THE TEAM
Thanks to our participant survey, we know what you appreciate so much about the ECD and why you enjoy participating again and again. But how do the organization team and the Tradebyte employees actually see the event ?We asked six of our colleagues: “What does the ECD mean to you?”
Katharina Caracciolo, Strategic Partner Manager:
“As a partner manager, it’s of course my job to get partners on board as sponsors , and I’m very happy that the ECD is so popular with our partners. This is due to the high-quality lectures, the great location and the delicious food. But above all because at the ECD you can meet the entire Ecom family and exchange ideas. For Tradebyte, the ECD is the ideal opportunity to shine, and I am particularly proud that I can be a part of it. “

“Ultimately, the ECD gives me the great opportunity to concentrate on my core activities and tasks in one and a half days. “For me, the ECD means networking! On no other day of the year is it so easy to get into conversation with exactly the right people. And also just to see the faces behind the name. Otherwise you usually only know each other from emails or phone calls. I have taken on the role of slot owner in the SLOT channel for the second year in a row. I particularly enjoy the direct line to the speakers and the wide range of tasks. “

“When I was at the ECD for the first time in 2018, I was positively slain. Not only that the “really big ones” come together on one day, but because in marketing you rarely come into direct contact with customers. We really have a lot of incredibly great customers who you can tell that they do their job with passion – the industry makes it easy for you to get in touch with people and take away one or two inspirations. So actually the many encounters and the success stories that you experience first hand make the ECD so great. And: in the end, as a co-organizer, you know exactly: the effort is worth it! “

“For me, the ECD is like an annual family reunion for the e-commerce industry. I’ve been there since the first ECD and have accompanied the event from the start. I am proud of the format and standing the event has achieved in the meantime. In Germany there is no comparable event with this fantastic atmosphere. Within one day I can meet contacts from the most relevant marketplaces, gain insights into the industry in personal conversations and expand my expertise through lectures and panel discussions. “
